The Helmsdale: Unobstructed Centre - Midrise Scissor

The Helmsdale Mid Rise Scissor Lift is a versatile maintenance lift designed with a similar philosophy to our much-loved Clifton, but with the added benefit of an almost completely unobstructed central opening thanks to its split platform design and absence of a torsion plate. This provides excellent access to the underside of the vehicle, making it ideal for brake and suspension work, servicing, exhaust repairs and general maintenance

Installation
Flush Floor Option:
The Helmsdale can be recessed into the floor, creating a clean, flush finish when lowered—ideal for maintaining a tidy workshop environment and reducing trip hazards.

Heavy-Duty Recommendation
Needs to be bolted down always due to the independent platforms and can possibly move on smooth floors.

As a Home Maintenance Lift, the Helmsdale Mid-Rise Scissor Lift is designed to provide excellent access to the underside of the vehicle thanks to its split platform, open-centre design with no central torsion plate. This makes it particularly well suited to servicing, brake and suspension work, exhaust repairs and general inspection tasks. With a 3200kg lifting capacity and a maximum lifting height of 980mm, the Helmsdale is capable of handling a wide range of modern vehicles while remaining compact enough for both professional garages and serious home workshop environments.

The Helmsdale operates from a 240v single-phase supply and features mechanical safety locks for added peace of mind when working beneath the vehicle. Hydraulic lines are routed neatly along one side of the lift to keep the centre section clear and safe to work in. Due to the open-centre construction, the Helmsdale must be securely bolted down, ensuring stability and long-term reliability. A flush floor installation option is also available, allowing the lift to sit neatly within the workshop floor when lowered.
