The Clifton: Midrise Scissor Maintenance Lift
The CLIFTON Mid Rise car Scissor Lift is our longest serving lift which we have been selling now for over 15 years and it is still as popular now as it was at our very first show. We have these lifts made exclusively for us in the same factory that made them all those years ago when we started out. The quality is still as outstanding as it was on day one, and much of the time we simply can’t get enough of them. Great for brake and suspension work, oil changes, as well as replacing exhausts parts, and works down the centre of the car. Works off 240v ‘domestic’ supply* and does not need bolting down.
The Clifton is a quality mid-rise scissor design making it ideal for those sites where a full height lift is not an option. Having the capability of moving the lift, not with the car on of course, has always been one of the attractive features of the lift which has proved over the years to be ever popular with a strong following.
It has become the firm favourite of many classic car enthusiasts, home users, and an untold number of detailing companies, tyre and brake companies, to name just a few.

It is interesting to see others taking on some of the innovative features we have introduced whilst developing our favourite Mobile Car Scissor Lift. What we are even more proud to say is that we fully believe that our market leader is just that because, not only does the design bring together all the best features our customers like, but the outright quality of the lift has remained untouched throughout all these developments. It is still an outstanding piece of modern machinery.
The Clifton is a top spec, surface mounted mid-rise platform scissor car lift. The design was the first in the UK to utilise an advanced assisted fulcrum on such a small lift. This excellent piece of geometry offers effortless lifting, and in operation provides ‘two stage lowering’ slowing the descent of the lift before it reaches ground level.
Unlike other similar models, the removable joining bar gives you flat floor access providing any wheeled items of equipment such as oil drainers, transmission jacks etc unimpeded access to the centre of the car.
